Available on the App Store
Countability Finance lets you record income and expenses, organize accounts and keep receipts alongside each transaction.
I developed an iPhone and iPad app combining budgets, receipt scanning and exports. Details extracted from an image or PDF can be reviewed before they are recorded.
The work covered the capture flow, OCR and correction history. The priority was making transactions easy to review while keeping their supporting documents connected.
SwiftUI, OCR and financial documents
Swift and SwiftUI power the recording and browsing interface. Vision OCR reads text from receipts, while PDFKit provides tools for working with PDF documents. Extraction does not replace review: users can check and correct the data before attaching it to a transaction.
What this development contributes
This case combines financial app development with document capture. Its value lies in keeping a transaction and its evidence together, rather than merely digitizing an image. The same type of integration is relevant to administrative tools that need to retrieve records and documents through a mobile interface.
