Car Payment Calculator US helps compare car loans by price, down payment, term and interest rate.
I developed the calculator and its iPhone and iPad interface, including saved scenarios, comparisons and history. Changing an input updates the payment and total cost.
Results are estimates for comparing options, not financing offers from a lender.
Calculations and a native iOS interface
Swift is used for calculation logic and SwiftUI for inputs, results and navigation. Xcode supports development and preparation for Apple devices. The workflow connects price, down payment, term and interest rate with an estimated payment and the total cost of the scenario.
What this development contributes
A useful calculator should make it clear which input changed and how it affects the result. Comparison and history help users revisit alternatives without entering everything again. This is an example of custom software where clear rules and presentation matter as much as the interface.
